We understand that rehoming your dog can be a stressful time for both you and your pet. We at Bull Terrier Rescue Australia Inc will do everything we can to help make this period as stress-free as possible.
we will do our best to rehome your dog direct from it’s current home to a new one, but unfortunately this is not always possible.
Foster spaces are always needed and we try to keep these for the most urgent cases. However if your case is urgent then we will do our utmost to find your bull terrier a foster or forever home as soon as possible.
Once you have relinquished your dog to us, we will work to find your dog a new home. Although you may never meet your dog’s new owners you can contact us for updates if you wish.
New owners are not allowed to pass on the dog to a third party and if they are unable to keep the dog they must notify us and a new home will be found.
All new homes undergo a home check. Prospective owners complete a comprehensive application form, undergo a home check visit, several telephone calls with their local coordinator and the foster carer if the dog is in foster.
It is essential that your dog’s vaccinations are up to date and preferably that they are desexed. This helps find your dog a new home far more quickly as it means the dog spends less time in foster recovering from a surgical procedure.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Vaccination certificate from your vet Certificate of desexing Microchip transfer papers completed upon surrender Recent health check with a letter from vet stating the health status of your dog Payment of surrender fee $100
